Test Results - Cortef vs Isocort

Hi Folks,

I just wanted to share with you all the results of a test I did. On March 9th I did a baseline morning 7:00 a.m. saliva test for cortisol. Then at 7:30 I took 2.5 mg. of CORTEF and then did another saliva sample at 9:00 a.m.

I did an identical test a month later using 2 pellets of Isocort, purchased online. Both tests were processed by Pharmasan Labs (Through Neurosciences, Inc.)

Results using CORTEF 2.5 mg.

7:00 A.M. Baseline Saliva 3.3 (Range 7-10)
9:30 A.M. Subsequent Sample 4.5

Results ISOCORT - 2 Pellets (Mfg. says each pellet is about 2.45 mg.)

7:00 A.M. Baseline Saliva 3.2 (Range 7-10)
9:30 A.M. Subsequent Sample 7.3

I could not tolerate even the small dose of Cortef as it was making my heart pound and giving me increased tinnitis. I can tolerate Isocort up to 4 pellets with minimal side effects.

Thought you might all find this interesting!

Regards,
Plant Lover
