Re: Iridology and Iodine

You stated: "If your body needs iodine, you have a thyroid problem. The thyroid uses so many minerals, iodine, iron, sulphur, selenium, copper, manganese, and zinc at a mininum (and probably others) that it is difficult to know which might help. So a broad mineral supplement would probably be the way to go."

I was just thinking, I take blackstrap molasses daily (plus selenium). I think it has all of those minerals. Or are you thinking larger amounts are needed? I continue to do well on the detoxified Iodine and I only noticed 2 things that were different between it and Lugols was my BM's went back to normal. Not that anything was wrong with the ones I had before but I remember hearing Dr. oz on Oprah discribing the perfert BM and with Lugol's I had that. Don't know why. And I don't remember my dreams as well now. I think it's because Lugol's more potent. (and more mentally stimulating)

I'm hoping in time I can work in more kelp and see if I can reach that same level. If that is possible. There is no way to raise your own kelp so there lies another problem with not knowing what you are getting. I know one day with God's help I will figure all of this out. I have gleamed wonderful knowledge from many of the forums here at CZ but it's still my job to make a daily plan to use them. 48124
