Thanks for the reply. Okay I also have noticed that if you take pure ascorbic acid in crystal from(vitamin C) its effects are also greater in distilled water than in juice or tap water..
I do believe water is important in regards to Lugol for the solution is in PURIFIED WATER as per stated on their bottle which id in glass.
Plastic do affect any health products inside it..I do not recommend using plastic bottle unless you are using it for your fish tank..
The batch of Lugol I got is good till June of 2011...
I also think that if one uses one type of "energized water" then one would have to diminish its Lugol intake as Lugol does give you extra energy to begin with..
Notes 1-purified water is processed by RO(reverse osmosis) or deionozation and it makes it indinguishable from distilled water..
Yes many pros and cons in regards to distilled water as being good or very dangerous;well the US marine vessels all have distillers on board their ships if I recall reading correctly and marines ar not dieing in droves due to bad distilled water..
See this website http://www.ionizers.org/index.html
But a more balanced website for everything you wanted to know or almost about water http://www.aquatechnology.net they have as clients relief agencies, governmental agencies, missionaries, military etc..
The owner,Gene Shaparenko has been interviewed on TheByteshow,a sort of Christian fundamentalist and patriotic radioshow(but they do hate Bush and the neo-cons..)

2-Bisphenol A(found in next to all plastic contenans) does disrupt the endocrine system thus taking Lugol from a plastic bottle..
3-the above links are given as references ONLY,period.
