I did consider submerging my scalp in the detox baths but was worried about my color treated hair being affected. I'm so glad Moreless bought this up, because I may be careful with what I put on the rest of my body but my hair is a whole different ballgame. Chemically treating my pride and joy (hair) may be one of the sources of a bad chemical entryway (scalp). Boy, the devil had my eyes closed on that one. The fact that the lye soap has no affect on the rest of my skin but my scalp breaks out with an alkaline soap lets me know that I do need my scalp alkalized. 48124
