Re: Look what fasting/detoxing did for me!

That's so nice.. thanks. I didn't post these to get compliments haha.. just wanted to inspire someone but thank you, it's appreciated. I know how hard getting started and even staying commited to detox can be, it's a big struggle or at least it was that way for me. As far as my eating plan inbetween, it took a LOT of trial and error before I found something that worked for me. I basically eat low carb but also watched fat intake too. Like no added oils in my meals, though I do use enough to make my menu work. I eat a lot of salad type veggies & lean meats, like turkey instead of hamburger.. Chicken instead of pork chops stuff like that. I also ate a TON of eggs / egg whites, made lots of things out of them -- even bread believe it or not, which I make stuff like reuben sandwiches or french toast out of. I also eat some cheese (laughing cow) and some ff sour cream from time to time. I also take whole source vitamin & mineral supplements as well as calcium and biotin for my hair. That's about it. Once I lose to my goal weight I plan on adding in fruits and grain, but until then.. I'm holding off. I find that when I add these things, my weight loss stops. I don't gain weight, but I don't lose any either.. so it'll be good for maintaining. I do wanna say that I was NOT faithful the whole time I was trying to better myself. There were times I slipped up and got off track for even a couple weeks at a time! The thing that was a lifesaver for me was making the choice to start again, no matter how big of a hole I had to dig myself out of. I just made sure I didn't keep sinking. Thats why places like this (Curezone) have been so important for me, I'd come and read and get refocused and encouraged by others making good proress and got excited about keeping up with my own journey.

Ok, starting to talk too much here so will end.. hope this helps answer your question. Thanks again!
