Re: Taking 50mg of Iodoral and still no detox or improvemnets...
I am the one who was poisoned by Cipro for a supposed UTI...and I am not the only one. There are tons of others out there. It is called being "floxed". Cipro is in the "fluoroquinolone" drug class ("FQ" for short) and it is a highly dangerous
Antibiotic although it is handed out like candy for UTI's.
The adverse reaction to this drug can be immediate or even delayed...it is actually common to have a delayed reaction. A lot of people I have read about didn't react til 4-6 months down the road. I on the other hand was completely blasted on day 5 of taking the drug (almost two years ago) and I have not been the same since taking either. I have extreme
food sensitivities ...I haven't gotten my period in a year...there are tons of other problems. I also took other
Antibiotics for a year and a half prior to the Cipro incident so I screwed up my digestion pretty bad.
I recently read on the FQ yahoo boards that a lot of the people have thyroid problems that started after their adverse reaction to an FQ. So....fluorinated drug?? thyroid out of wack?? iodine??? hmmmmmm....now you tell me if you think there is a connection. I sure do!
Anyhow...read more about FQ poisoning and I will allow others on the board to answer your Q's about
Iodine because I am new to all of this and don't feel comfortable advising you on how much
Iodine you should be taking. I am just increasing my dosage depending on how my body is handling and reacting to the intake and you should probably do the same. Maybe 50 mg is not enough for you if you have not seen any positive improvements in two months.
Here are some links you should definitely read:

I can definitely try and answer your Q's about cipro if you have more you want to ask. I can blame Cipro on my entire health condition but there is NO DOUBT in my mind it is a major contributing factor. And if that fluoride is still lodged in all my tissues, I WANT IT OUT!!!
