I know a few have noted that vision changes somewhat during Iodine therapy. I'm very curious what the reason is. I am nearsighted with astigmatism. I can't even see the big E on the eye chart without contacts or glasses but my vision is changing somehow. I really notice it early in the morning when I wake up. I look around and I can see the numbers on my alarm clock (not perfectly but enough to read it) Things in the room have clear borders on them, not a fuzzy blurring into the background.
I have read that hyperthyroid causes bulged eyes and since the shape of the eye is one of the things that helps one to see well, could correcting to Iodine sufficiency reshape our eyes with the correct pressure and bring better vision? 48124
