Why filter at all? Your CS batch should be free of any particles unless there is such a buildup of silver oxide on your electrodes that they fall off into the brew. But then, you are either brewing too long, do not have a controlled current generator, or are not stirring and aglomeration is occuring. You should be able to easily produce a Crystal C. batch at 20 ppm with absolutely no particles to filter. My SG6 does that every time, perfectly. My DW measures 1.5 PPM on a Hanna COM-100 meter. Before I had an SG6 I was using either three 9 volt bateries, or a 30 volt dc power supply. I always got a yellow brew with clumps of silver oxide in the batch. You need a better process to make a better brew. There really is a difference in the quality and effectiveness of CS when you have a good CS generator.
