I am so glad I found this forum! I have just started my Water Fast (which began as a juice fast... but with my loads of research over the past few days... I have been swayed to try the water fast). I became interested in fasting when reading about it in my natural health and nutrition and yoga books and Im really excited to try it out.
I am 27, 5´6¨ and about 145 lbs. I am already a healthy vegetarian and (part time) organic eater... I am always trying to improve my health (physical, spritual, mental)... even after all this though, I must admit I really want to lose about 15 to 20 lbs too! I am really afraid though of gaining the weight back after I have lost it... what can I do to prevent this? ANy advice?
I would love to have a fasting buddy to communicate with to keep my motivation up... and I promise to return the favor!
Oh and with day 1 down... I feel pretty good... I mean Im kindof hungry... but not the horrible nightmare at all I was expecting. I have been battleing with food my whole life, and the past few years I have really found a deep love for nutrition and whole healthy foods... but even then there are days where I still feel out of control, eating out of bordom, and eating jus because food is there... so I really feel passionate in this new undertaking of a fast... I think it will really give me a new perspective of food and teach me a lot!
