Re: Wow! Amazing Gentle Flush Results
Dear Fellowflusher,
I certainly endorse not taking any unnecessary risks. I should have also mentioned that I have the mixed blessing/curse of not having a gallbladder and so don't have an additional organ to be concerned with something getting stuck in.
But to answer your question. No, I don't take
Epsom Salts prior. The protocol calls for not drinking anything for 3 hours before ingesting the egg, oil and juice.
However, I have been drinking water that has
Epsom Salts ,
Sea Salt and baking soda mixed in daily to help alkanize my body, which also has the added effect of relaxing the smooth muscles slightly.
If you'd rather not mess around with the
Epsom Salts to clean out your system after the drink, which is the main reason I take the epsoms, the enema always remains an option and perhaps a safer one if you do have your gallbladder. Though...
Another thing you can do instead of the epsoms or the enema, which is what I have been doing everyday except the day of the egg drink.
This will take just a few days preparation: Begin taking 1 tsp a day of castor oil mixed with a cup of warm water first thing in the morning for at least 3 days prior to the egg drink.
And then, the day of the egg drink, take the castor oil drink approx 2 hours after the egg mixture instead of first thing. Followed by more warm water every 30 minutes for the next two hours. This will probably get the stuff out of your system... don't want it in there to retoxify you. And if it doesn't... well, I just though of another trick, which I found out about accidentally.
Drinking warm water I have found is just fabulous. Well, one day I thought to add some molasses to the warm water for the added minerals... totally forgetting about it's tendency to relax the bowels, lol. Had me running... and, unfortunately I drank this late at night... Don't do that! Unless, that is, wearing a diaper to bed is an option. This effect was gained from drinking just 1/4 cup of a full cup of warm water that I had put a tsp-tbls of molasses in.
Pretty effective in moving stuff out too, I'd say.
So, bottom line... I'd say if you have your gallbladder, be safe and use the alternatives to prevent anything getting stuck. Also, if you don't lay down after drinking the egg mixture, you may not get as much of a suction effect either. Didn't on me the first two times when I didn't lay down afterwards.
Best Wishes for your total health and wellbeing,
just-n-merciful (are our bodies)
