if you are not ready to get it taken out just yet, i would still suggest getting everything checked out just to make sure. because you know even if your husband gets a vasectomy, he is till fertile for up to three months afterwards. (until he gets the "happys" between the cut zone and the end of him out, takes about 15 volcanoes, then he has to get a count done and when the count comes back zero, hes considered infertile) my husband just had it done, thats how i know. but if you cant stand to wait that long, there are other forms of birthcontrol that you might could use until then. i have some websites that i can give you if you would like.
