Interesting, I've never heard any evidence or speculation about cs preventing static electric shock & I wouldn't expect it to, given the quantities involved. That said I'm sure most folk taking cs wouldn't be exposed to frequent static shocks so wouldn't be able to form an opinion or comment on it. If it's having this effect with you then you may have discovered a new property of cs (you could name it the Az_Scorp effect), though I'd be wary of extrapolating from the experience of 1 day - give it a lot longer & see whether the absence of shocks keeps up & is correlated with the days you take cs.

Another thought, you added another post about magnetic rings - could these (or their absence) have anything to do with the lack of shocks?
