Re: Iodine Painting and skin reactions

Sorry, I posted this 'incomplete' thought:

Many (most) commercial personal care products, cosmetics, skin creams and lotions have petrochemicals and other harmful ingredients. Could some of the skin reactions people are having, be connected to the products they are using on their skin?

What I wanted to say:

Could some of the skin reactions people are having when painting with Iodine solutions, be the Iodine reacting to chemicals in the products they are using on their skin?

As an essential oil user, the first thing I learned was to make sure NOTHING I used on my skin had chemicals in it. Unfortunately, just because a label says "Natural or Organic" doesn't mean it is free of chemicals.
