i just ended a 14 day juice fast...my first ever...and i had a few questions. i have browsed this site and found that you are very knowledgeable with fasting protocols.
i had a few questions...
this morning i ate some steamed asparagus and had some juice. then i snacked on some raw cucumbers and
Celery a little later. had a lot more juice...then had some raw organic sauerkraut. and then i just drank about two cups of some bone broth i had in the oven all day today. i skimmed as much of the fat off the top as i could. do you think i am overdoing it with the solid/raw food today?
i have severe digestion issues and
food sensitivities which i am trying to cure, hence my juice fast, but i wanted to know if it is normal to feel really tired after eating on the first day even if you have health digestion? i am trying to determine if i am so lethargic today due to my normal digestion issues, or if it is common for anyone coming off a juice fast to get tired after eating the first few days.
i am trying to take it easy, but once you start eating the hunger sets in...something i haven't really felt much in the past two weeks. and the energy level is incredible while fasting so maybe i am a little bummed to be back to slumpy digestion and fatigue.
any advice or input would be great. thanks!
