Even if excessive iodine intake would help i wouldn't recommend it to anyone who has no problem with the thyroid cause when the intake goes over 1mg it's already carcinogenic, grapefruit seed extract is beneficial for hypochlorhydria, it stimulates gastric juices and hinders eventual yeast overgrowth or sinusitis.
B-vitamins are a very good option since the human body can tolerate them well in extentive numbers.
