Re: alas OP is a no no

White,

I am not a medical doctor, but I do assume this is detox. Even the mental/emotional syptoms. When you have even unusually strong reactions to oil pulling, and given the with the wealth of experience here with oil pulling and OP over time, you might want to consider being more openminded to the idea that you are in detox mode.

Your symptoms are severe and I think I suggested in an earlier post, and Nut suggested, starting slow and working your way up in amount of oil and frequency. You could try a different oil -- I wonder if there is a possibility of allergic reaction to oil, although in my recollection that has never been reported.

If you go to a psychistrist and describe your symptoms, it might sound like manic- Depression rapid cycling (high followed by a low in a short period of time). A GI doctor might tell you you have gas or GB problems. And so on. If something is occuring coincidentally, that might be the case. I doubt it.

If I were you, I would listen to Trapper and others about cleansing courses of action. As Molly says, oil is just food. You didn't even swallow it, in the sense that it did not pass through all of your layers of immunity. That to me would be a strong argument for a serious cleansing regime.

When I started the Liver Flush I had some intense Depression and panic/anxiety, the likes of which I had not experienced since coming down off of cocaine, which is one of the greatest physical/emotional feelings of desperation anyone will ever describe to you. Was it the fact that I drank grapefruit juice, olive oil, and took Epsom Salts ? No. It was due to the fact that there are toxins stored in my body that feel extremely unpleasant when they are forced out. I called a friend who has lots of Liver-Flush experience, and he advised me to do an enema to help move stuff out faster. Kabam -- almost immediate relief. Next time around, with the memory of those terrible feelings in mind, I tried the coffee enema -- a gentler yet effective way of liver cleansing.

I feel like all of this is like peeling the layers of an onion off one by one. Get rid of one toxic layer and you likely will reach another, until you reach a state of calm, health, and well-being that you can literally sense when you read the posts of people who have been around here a long time and who have had a lot of experience.

But you have to be at the point of desperation about your health that forces you to try and keep trying new things. It's only at that point that you will do it and stick with it. There is often the idea at Curezone that people are foolish not to try healing and cleansing protocols because they are easy and simple compared to medical procedures and expenses. Well, I disagree. It is not easy to do this stuff. It takes a lot of time and a lot of discipline to do some pretty unpleasant and detailed protocols that, as you point out, can make you feel like sh*t, on top of that. That is why the vast majority of people will go to the doc for the pill or the knife. That, and also a deep-seated belief that persists in me despite my desire for it to be gone, which is that only a doctor will know what to do. This idea is inculcated in us very young and is hard to shake.

But, I was convinced that doctors were not going to help me with my health, and I was determined to find answers and take suggestions. I did not arrive at Curezone thinking enemas were for me. I arrived at enemas because I was desperate to feel better and keep cleansing.

I had a terrible early reaction to OP in the form of a giant sore, probably herpes, on the under side of my tongue. It was impossible to eat or sleep for more than a week and I thought I was going insane. I literally considered going to the hospital and begging them to put me out until it was gone. I am sure that it came from the oils I was using.

And nonetheless, I was glad that I kept going with OP both during the presence of the sore itself and in general. It has continued to offer only benefits once I got past that early stage of insomnia/skin breakouts and that intense hellish week of mouth sore. And getting through that experience, I was more convinced that there was a lot of crap in me that needed to come out, so the blessing was that I stepped up my cleansing stuff.

Please consider listening to the people who are here to help you and guide you. If you don't want to OP, nobody wants to make you. But I think some pretty knowledgeable people have suggested that you try cleaning some other organs, and it sounds like it would be better for you to get that stuff out than keep it in. We all really want you to be well is all. However you get there!

Good luck,

Laura
