When I did my first cleanse about a year ago, I developed intense flu symptoms during the cleanse. But I knew it was the cleanse, and not the real flu. Lots of mucous for those 16 days, but, the the cleanse knocked out of me a persistent cough that I had for about 8 to 10 years. I think you will be fine.
