Re: How can this be possible???pH question
him: "good genes"? Seriously, that's one aspect. Let's not forget 'living on borrowed time'--not to be alarmist. Also, that is rather high for pH, suggesting that his body is working very hard to buffer *his* acidifying behaviours. The result is, quite an alkaline reading. The pendulum effect. That means he's *actively* using up his store of minerals, like going into overdrive. It's like this: eating meat (say) can make people feel 'good' and much of that feeling arises from the body's mounting an immune response to what amounts to foreign dna. ( see Andreas Moritz on this subject) When your immunity response kicks in, you can "feel good". You're in high gear. Ever notice a person can feel great just before they get sick? This suggests the feeling good ( and even looking really good) is actually the visible sign of the body's hard work. Sometimes, the very next day, you get a cold, or something like that. The rush of acidity (whether in too much of an improper food, or stress,etc.. etc) proves to be too much to handle and the result is 'coming down with something'. Note: It's extremely important to have good digestion/elimination--esp. when into 'cleansing'. coming down with things is usually largely the result of a toxic condition that the system hasn't been able to clear through the normal channels. The result? colds, fevers and so on, whose purpose is to burn up and liquefy waste (mucous) so that the body can clear itself and restore balance. In that sense the 'illness' is really more properly a function of healing--but I'm getting off-topic.
You: cleansing releases acid stores in the body ( all forms of toxicity/constipation are 'acid') . The body then needs to use up its mineral reserves, to buffer; if the cleansing is constant, one is always in 'detox' mode, which can leave you severely minerally-depleted. When you're really low in one mineral, also, the body will use another as a 'surrogate'. This can lead to multiple deficiencies.
Conclusion -- remineralize. It's central to pH balancing. Look into ionic minerals, or possibly, the moreless approach to ph, which I have found has a lot of value. (in the latter case, I recommend reading the moreless website or the R messages by Invincible on the ask moreless site, rather than all of ML's messages. Moreless' persistently principal-like behaviour can be a detriment to getting across the essence of what he's on about.
