I've said this before, but you probably haven't been here for long. The truth is, what we have can have a variety of causes. Please don't speak for everyone if you think something is true for you as people will end up trying medications that are not appropriate for them.
For some people this is caused by yeast, for some people it isn't. For some people it's an allergy and some it isn't. Some people get it from Accutane, some people from AIDS medications, some from habitual lip biting/picking etc. and some other diseases and deficiencies and infections and God knows what else. The difficulty in diagnosis comes from that.
The value in our all talking about it is how it allows us to compare exact symptoms and treatments that work for us individually. Some people have inflammation, some have itching/pain, some get little bumps, some have symptoms inside the mouth, and some just peel and that's it. If you think you have oral thrush, fine, but don't try to diagnose us all with oral thrush as this is merely a symptom of many things.
