Re:Winter/spring and other differances!

Growing differant seeds from differant regions has been the most dramatic so far.Ive grown winter high protein from kansas which did ok.Then I tried a high protein winter from texas and it performed much better in the heat of central Ill.The texas wheat grew dramaticaly taller with a more uniform growth and averaged 6 more ozs. per tray.Spring has a much better turnover, sprout and growth time are faster. The springs short thick growth make for air circulation issues.Very problomatic in july with high heat and humidity.Spring doesnt allow for maximum grow time, smaller yield and less mineral uptake.I plan to try the kamut strain this spring. If the kamut is non hybrydized the growing curve could be very interesting.
