GF was raped by crazy high school bf

My gf was raped in high school by her first crush. He did it twice and made her keep quiet. She didn't want him but he took advantage of her. Last summer he found her on myspace and began msging her. She showed no interest and she found out that one of her good girlfriends had begun dating him. (Mutual high school friends). When she found out about this she went to her friend and explained the past and what had happened when they were younger. She was doing her best to prevent it from happening again. After he found out that she was trying to convince this new girl to leave him he got upset and caught her offguard. He raped her, like the scum he is, and even inserted a knife into her. That happened in early December and I had been working with her to be positive and move on. SHe had been staying at her parents house in fear of him coming back for her at her apartment. She went to the police and doctor and the police even caught him with cocaine and intent to sell, but not enough to get him on the rape. So the cops were busy trying to "investigate" the drug aspect and she was doing the best to stay safe...watching behind her while driving, buying pepper spray, ignoring his ruthless calls and emails. A few days ago when she was coming home from a friends house he was waiting for her at her parents house...and they were gone. He got her inside the house and did it again and nearly killed her by suffocation when her parents walked in to stop him. He got away and now the police have evidence and are currently looking for him. She doesn't know how to handle it now and I am trying to console her. Anyone have any possible advice? Tweet
