I agree with Zooii on this, in terms of experience with that drug. Here's an excerpt from another post of mine, with my experience:
"The pyrantel (a pinworm med that can kill hook and roundworm, if taken 3 days in a row) works okay [according to my research]. The problem with that drug is that the parasites don't move because they are paralyzed, but they don't loose their grip or necessarily die. In my experience, that drug wears off in about 2 weeks. At that point, when the parasites wake up from their stupor, they are hungry and aggressive.
Additionally, you'll have to deal with them being stronger and causing a resistant problem. Whatever group of parasites that refuse to die, does get stronger!"
Addendum: In my experience it does kill the younger parasites, and as Zooii has pointed out Ascaris are very large, and I can say it doesn't work well on them. Would I recommend it? Not necessarily, but this would depend on other drugs as a combination -- again, something that I wouldn't recommend without research.
I don't think anyone on this forum can say, yea or nay on a particular drug or herb use because everyone needs to do stringent research from several sources. It is a great mistake to rely on one or two articles as a means for treatment.
