Re: Experiment, all can join....
good for you, zach. i really dig your enthusiasm for life and learning(or are they the same?).
here is something else to plug in to your equation. the planets in the solar system, in fact the entire unuverse of celestial bodies, are in synch with one another. just like all the wheels in a clock, if one moves faster, they all move faster. if one moves slower, they all move slower. most time change is not noticed because of this. it even effects the micro universe, so that even electrons and protons are part of the great procession of time.
i believe what you are noticing via the navy is the lag in the fluidity of space - the built in shock absorption of the vacuum we live in. otherwise, there would be nothing to notice at all. the fact is, time has greatly sped up. it has nothing to do with perception of getting older. if you can find a lucid old contracter or plant manager from the auto industry, just ask him. he can tell you that what used to take five minuts now takes ten, or twenty minutes. over the past few decades, this change has taken place. and yes, any attempt to confirm it can be explained away. only the human mind can perceive it, and who can prove perception?
good luck, young man.
