not all dr.s check for insulin unless you go to a preventive one. or request that they do
but ask for insulin levels so you can head off diabetes........they usually just check for glucose but once you have it then it's too late you have diabetes.
then later, I switched to cinnamon tablets.......they say it goes by body weight but I could never find instructions.......so, I doubled the normal dose on the bottle as I am heavy........2AM 2PM
this brought my insulin levels down by my next lab work
in the meantime, I keep flushing every 2 weeks and now I no longer need the cinnamon my levels are good.
I do, on occasion say for the holidays take some as a preventative if I'm off my whole foods or eat something I'm not supposed to which is very rare.....
i stay away refined sugars......white flour.....etc.
switched to sprouted grains.
