Looks like you know your way around Bill. Now THAT certainly is refreshing.

Yeah, I suspect that deep down Bill knew - at least he "knew" in the way that one can never really KNOW with certainty the future until it happens but along the way one can certainly have a premonition that comes from reading the signs. I suspect Bill "knew" even back when he was still enoying the aura of his small community in Apache seeming to be collectively behind him when they made public announcements to the authoritites "we will NOT allow & tolerate another Ruby Ridge to occur in our community, we will NOT allow & tolerate another WACO to be perpetrated in our community", and in the end, this is exactly what they collectively allowed and tolerated.
