Good idea! It IS expensive. You have heard -i'm sure--uhm  that the best probiotic is found in a breast-feeding baby's diaper...think it's here on Curezone somewhere...I know this Sounds freaky when people first hear it,
and it creeps them out--goes to show you how 'acculturated' we are (in the West at least).
like being turned off to hear the "Eskimos" (old word) chewed their food and then gave it to the babies--
I remember my mother telling me this after a trip up North when I was quite young and I thought it magical--
she also told me the babies never cried--no need. No lack....this was decades ago :-(

I couldn't believe it when I first read it--the diaper thing--
but now it makes perfect sense--those with infants are very lucky! :-)

I Had another thought --let's see...Bifidum-i think that was it:
that despite the range of probiotics in say, primal defense, that it's Bifidum (sp?)that is the best one in some ways-
(just my understanding) -and it can be implanted too.(ie: up the other way) Never tried it...

i happen to like cultured cabbage and homemade kimchi (kim-chee)

eating it-- I mean  :-)

but probiotics--yeah. Important. And antibiotics--not good--not sure what the effect is of taking them for an abbreviated time--my sense is, that's harder on the system than the full course.
