In the light, we will find the road...
Well, the annals of Nick and the fabulous, furry butt brothers continues. Thanks everyone for the kind words you have sent me about my adventure in and around the toilet. Everything has calmed down considerably now. Like another poster here, I have been listening to my body "speak" the past couple of days. It's been pretty much a one way conversation and all I can say back is "thank you o wise, toothless one for those pearls of wisdom."
Tonight I watched the movie "the Celestine Prophecy." It was not nearly as good as the book, the book was cool and was a big hit on the "Lonely Planet" circuit (adventure travelers staying in hostels). Lat year I was in Peru and I happened to be at Machu Picchu on the night of the full moon. I bought a ticket to go in to the ruins at night time. It was overcast and I was alone. I found an alter and sat on it and felt that I heard a voice ask me not to sit on the alter. He said that if I wouldn't sit on the alter, he would clear the skies for me. So I listened and went to sit elsewhere. Five minutes later, the sky cleared and the full moon shone in all it's brilliance. It was so bright, you could read a book by the light.
I spent two beautiful hours walking around the ruins by the light of the moon. No flashlight, just peacefulness, beauty and serenity. It was a warm night and I could feel the place vibrating with life.
Moments later I saw a couple of people walking down the Inca trail towards the ruins. I could hear them! They were a couple of Germans and they were very loud and wearing a couple of lights on their heads. They had polluted the serenity with their light and noise. When they came into the ruins I stepped out and shouted "Hi" and waved! I'm pretty sure they must have peepeed in thier pants a little... :) I know, not very nice, but I got over it. It was kinda funny. Anyway, I was a little miffed at having the serenity broken and I asked the spirits to close up the skies. Five minutes later, the clouds rolled in and the moon was gone. I walked the five miles back to Agua Caliente and sang.
I know... Some of you must be thinking I need to back off a little on the alfafa sprouts... :) Oh well, without wierd people like me, how could you ever tell who the normal ones are??? I'm happy, I'm friendly, I'm healthy and I am NOT full of crap thanks to this past liver flush...
What does this whole story have to do with liver flushes? Absolutely nothing. It's midnight here in Seattle and I felt like writing. Anyway, Seattle is having a big snow storm right now and I am leaving in a few minutes to drive to Salt Lake City. Don't worry, I've put on my snow chains, I have a bunch of books on CD and I have my juicer in the back seat. Life is one great beautiful adventure and I want to live it for all it's worth.
take care
Nick
