I, too, have made a decision to stay as far away from corn as I can--for all the reasons already mentioned. In addition, it harbors mold because of the way it is stored in silos. Mold in the body produces micotoxins. I don't know if corn-produced xylitol carries this mold with it, but since there is an option of birch-produced xylitol, that is my choice. I stay away from peanut oil for the same reasons.
