Re: sleep paralysis (edited)

I had to google the term "sleep paralysis" to see if that's what I used to experience...& it was!

I would "wake up" from a deep sleep(I wasn't really awake...), would feel like I could not move, in fact I felt as though something was holding me down, and then I would leave my body...and that was REALLY scary...until I relaxed & "conciously" started controlling my "flight pattern", so to speak...Eventually these nocturnal adventures ceased. I don't know why it started or why it stopped, but it did. Interestingly, one source said that sleeping on one's back can be a causative factor. Do you sleep on your back? I used to...

Now, when I was experiencing this, there was no internet. In fact, I didn't know until just now that there was a term for this!

So...I don't know if this helps at all, but I did end up enjoying the "trip"...
