The liver is an amazing organ that can regerate itself completely. If you would cut much of it out and just leave a small part, it will regrow to its natural size. So don't worry :)

I also have liver flukes and sharp pain in my liver. But I see them as red, rolled "tomato" skins, sometimes not so red but rather beige, but very small.

To help the liver heal you need lecithin (preferably granules), B vitamins and amino acids (naturally present in nutritional yeast flakes),vitamin C, good fats with omega 3 - fish oils, peppermint tea, carrot/beet/apple juice, and liver supporting herbs such as dandelion, bupleurum, milk thistle.
