Tonight's the night...
Well, this is the second day off my fast. I drank only OJ and my french vegetable soup today. Tonight I went out and ran 3 miles and it was great, no stomach cramps like last week. My little "healing crisis." When I got home I took one of the detox baths that Zoe told me about. It was the
Epsom Salt and ginger bath. Boy! Is that a powerful bath. You have to be careful when you get out of that one, your heart is beating and you're a little dizzy when you stand up. Don't stand up to fast or it's head rush city!
During the bath, I lit a candle. I found these wonderful natural candles at whole foods. They are blue all the way through and called beeswax aromatherapy pillar. Mine are the bergamot-mint. Bergamot is the spice they use to make Earl Grey tea. That's what gives the tea it's scent.

I do not work for the company. Just great smelling candles.
After the bath, I made a big batch of orange juice and I threw in a left over lemon for good measure. I did my first oil pull tonight for 15 minutes using the sesame oil. I don't know yet what the effects will be but I can say one thing for sure. That's quite a mouth workout!
Tomorrow I continue with breaking my fast. I bought some good organic whole grain bread and I'm going to have an organic salad tomorrow for dinner with a piece of bread.
Besides ending the fast, tomorrow I have a major event happening. I write software for a living (not microsoft!) and the past 6 months I've been writing web-based scheduling software for a large trucking company. Tomorrow is the first day they use my software. It will be a day of glory or I will crash and burn mightily! :)
that's about it for me,
Nick
ps. pepe, what sort of greens powder do you add to your kefir? I saw a couple, one called "Alive!" and one called "Perfect Food." What do you or anyone else like?
