Re: would you do it???

Most of us are aware of the use of maggot therapy in wounds
and ulcers and certainly I would do that if it was appropriate
to heal most effectively. I would not ingest maggots though
for a few reasons...the first coming to mind, that their
life cycle would contribute to the toxicity in my body, and
that there are many other options which would be more
compatible...for instance, using pure oregano oil...etc.

Here is an article which speaks to contraindications of
using maggot therapy on the outside of the body...I can
only imagine the problems associated with maggots growing
and eating their way *out*...yuck :)

Interesting thought though...I would like to see the first
hundred folks who do want to trade 25 bucks for a gut full
of maggots and hear how it went for them...
