Well, what you do is let those tattered-rag looking blobs alone to sit in some unadulterated apple juice and they'll eventually knit you a nice little batch of home made vinegar. I've seen various people post about different ways and reasons to eat - like hors d'oeuvres IE> kicked-up healthy "snacks" and such. To each their own, but just due to the potential double entendre value in this, I'm not gonna go there any further .... it causes odd echoes of Doctor Detroit:)
