Sorry to butt-in but I was severely ill just like that...I didn't tolerate anything. For 6 months I lived on chicken, broth, squash, ghee, cooked onions/spinach/carrots. And I had to alternate them. Thank God I have healed soooo much!!
To make the homemade broth I would put the bones (beef or chicken..healthy grassfed if possible) into water with a TBSP of ACV and let sit for 1 hour then simmer for at least 48 hours. I then strained off the big stuff added some salt and drank it. It would perk me up so much.
I have read that the gelatin is very good for the intestines.
