Frank, you got a steam cleaner?
...Or, can you beg, borrow, or steal one?
Actually, any very hot cleaning water is good...maybe even hotter than hot tap water...but be very careful not to get any on you know who!
The heat of the water, or direct sunlight, is wonderfully purifying for the bathroom, kitchen, anywhere you might like it.
I once took a velvet-covered barrel chair outside and hosed it down, brushed it a little with a tiny bit of soap, on spots, rinsed, and left it dry in the sunshine for two or three days.
It felt like a brand-new chair!
Some people do their bedsheets and underwear with a steamer.
Pioneers used to boil their laundry in a big iron pot over an outdoor fire.
I'm going to steam the crevices, walls, and floor around the toilet, in fact, the whole bathroom...then the kitchen. If I have trouble doing it, I'll hire a teenager...and hover over them with fresh cloths or towels to mop up with.
Once hot, critters are finished. (He-he-he.)
Nice and fresh for spring.
