And, your best guesses about whole oil-containing foods...so we don't have to be concerned about anyone's processing, just the growing and shipping.
I am very intrigued by Grzbear's suggestion that the liver manufactures vital lecithin from Essential Fatty Acids, for the whole body.
But, the only info I have found on lecithin speaks to that manufactured for the food industry.
Still, there it is in black and white...that 'body' lecithin is made by the liver. Period!
So, I then deduce that commercial lecithin must be manufactured only for the supplementation industry, and the taste and texture enhancement of processed foods.
Maybe we could have a Best Guess forum, where we post our hopes...and a What Happened When forum, for follow-ups.
One that niggles in the back of my mind - what would happen if all the
Iodine in iodized salt disappeared from my butter, bread, prepared cereals, and so on?
Another is - what if we ground all our own flour from dried sprouted heritage grains and seeds? I mean, there is a cottage industry for some...neighborhood sprouter/miller...in their semi-attached studio...with teen-aged apprentices.
I know, I'm a dreamer.
