YAY! I got "Nourishing Traditions". I love it because it validates the way that I cook although a lot of it IS new to me...vinegar in stock...have only RECENTLY gotten into fermentation...anyway, thank you for that...
I'm envious. I live in the high desert now...I miss the mighty oaks of my youth..We've planted lots of trees(incl. an orchard) but they're still young...I read somewhere that the primeval sounds of nature are...the sound of the ocean, the sound of rain & the sound of the wind in the trees...aaahhh...You don't know what a lovely sound that is until you haven't heard it for a while.
