thats pretty interesting because there is talk about how this exfoliative cheilitis is caused by fungus growing on the lips.

Tolnafate 1% - Highly successful in treating fungus infections of the skin which cause athletes foot, jock itch, and body ringworm. Virtually nonsensitizing and does not ordinarily sting or irritate intact or broken skin. It is odorless and does not stain.

It says that it doesnt irritate broken skin but I don't really trust using it everyday just because they say not to use it for more than 4 weeks.
