liver damage

Hi!

I posted earlier about the Milk Thistle mishap (my liver 'exploded' when I took it and now I have horrible pain in whole right chest). Is it possible that this could have caused liver damage? :(
The liver is not healing itself, it's just painful. I've heard that the liver can regenerate itself about 1 inch a year, but that seems like a pretty slow process?
