Listen.
Nobody's calling anybody lazy, however, NOBODY this side of "Ripley's Believe It or Not" has a
healthy Diet and exercises regularly and gains anything close to 70
pounds (equivalent to more than half the body weight of a healthy, average-size woman).
Also, nobody's looking for a "size zero". Health means healthy muscle tissue, which typically does not fit in this size. My ex-girlfriend was pretty healthy, bit of a gym-rat and carried about 10 extra on her butt - this is not a big deal and I still found her very attractive. Could she have been healthier and lost the 10? Probably. However, from my own fitness, I know that when you are near your goal weight, it can be very difficult to hone in on an under 10 lb loss.
I give a lot of credit to the original poster, both for asking the question and for asking for honesty. My female friends tell me that if more men were honest about this issue, it would dramatically affect the way women approached it (sad, because they should just take care of themselves anyway). Also, women need to lose the "we're fat and he has to love me anyway" club mentality - you shouldn't be and he doesn't.
The bottom line is women shouldn't lose weight and be fit for men, it should their first and absolute priority even if they are on the way to the convent.
