Re: Lavendar oil works for burns.
Hi Elaina:
Thanks for the kind words. And yes, I would be happy to share my formulas with you or anyone else for that matter. I have over 50 formulas at the present time. There are 41 that I have made, and 9 that I am going to make when I have the time. I have spent thousands of hours over more than three years to come up with these formulas. They are a combination of the formulas that
Dr. Schulze , Dr. Christopher, and other master herbalists have created. I learned from each of them and made my own formulas. The main thing that sets my formulas apart, is that I give what I feel are better directions for making them. It seemed to me that so many of their instructions were lacking in detail.
The Heart Formula is made up of several items. The original formula called for Cactus Grandiflorus Extract. But since I don’t have a source for it, I substituted Nopalli Extract. I have heard of so many good reports about Nopalli that it just seemed a the right thing to do. I have a friend here in the San Diego area that is growing Cactus Grandiflorus for me. But I fear that it will be many years before I can harvest any.
Heart Formula.
1. Hawthorn Berry Syrup, 18 parts.
2. Nopalli Extract, 3 parts.
3. Ginger Root Tincture, 1 part.
4. Motherwort Tincture, 1 part.
5. Habanero Tincture, 1 part.
6. Red Clover Blossom Tincture, 1 part.
7. Garlic Tincture, 1 part.
Mix all of the Tinctures together. Then add the syrup. Mix and bottle in dark amber bottles. Be sure to cap the bottles tightly and store in a dark, cool place.
If you need the recipes for making each ingredient, I will be happy to share them with you too. I will be happy to share all of my formulas and the individual recipes for each ingredient in every formula. But I’m not sure that the site would care to have me post all of that here. Because the recipe for the extract and each of the tinctures is one page long for each one. And the recipe for the syrup is 3 pages long. That’s 9 or 10 pages, just for that one formula. If, for example, you wanted to have all 50 of my formulas, and the recipes for making each ingredient in each formula, that would be hundreds and hundreds of pages. And my list of formulas continues to grow. Maybe someone should suggest to the
Webmaster to create a forum on the making formulas.
Do you have any suggestions? However I can help, I’ll be glad to. At this point, I’m open to any suggestions you might have. Please let me know your thoughts on this.
Good Health and keep posting,
Tracy
