I am really a morning person and just started a job a couple weeks ago that is all night!!! I need the $$$ or I wouldnt be doing it. I have been taking melatonin on the days I work for 3 weeks now. Anyway I can't sleep with light and have tried not taking melatonin on some days and I just end up not sleeping at all that day and not getting to sleep till midnight ( up for more then 30 hours). your post was interesting, for my real job my eyes are my $$(starting my own business and filling in the gaps with other work) I will starting a new job in the next week or so and wont be up at night so I will discontinue melatonin. I had heard there were negative responses to it and some places here(Canada) have stopped selling it. although it does a great job at getting and keeping you asleep
