This post came at a perfect time for me. My daughter was totally clear for a couple of weeks (except for what I am certain is contact dermatitis) and had a breakout on her arms yesterday. I got a bit upset (understatement). Your post puts it back in perspective! Thank you!

Now, tell me, what led you to believe that your son has a skin parasite? The reason I ask is that my daughter definitely has several different types of eczema. Maybe I'm missing something. The eczema on her arms is bumpy, not-red, and not itchy. Maybe it's not eczema at all. Hmmmm.

We visited our Homeopath two days ago and she was very pleased with Charlotte's progress and wanted to hold off on any additional treatment (for a few months, provided her skin stayed clear. It was clear the day we saw her.) to give Char's body time to heal itself. And I do agree that her body has the capability, but I wonder if I'm not missing something.
