Re: Ribavirin Experiment

Well my last Ribavirin was Oct 19th, I was breaking out during the last 5 days of my 2nd 10 day dose, the OB cleared on Oct 25th. Then I purchased Famvir and have been taking 500mg daily since Nov 3rd. As of today Nov 16 still no OB but cannot say if it was the Ribavirin because I started suppressive therapy with Famvir. I started the Famvir because after Oct 25th I had sore groins and I felt like a OB was going start up again. I guess by taking the Famvir I blew my own experiment. The Ribavirin did stop my OB in about 4 days. It seemed to make my 2nd OB really bad, that was when I started my 2nd 10 dose.

OB- 9/25/06, started 800mg Ribav. 10 days.
OB- 10/8/06, started 800mg .......10 days
OB- cleared 10/25/06

11/03/06 startes 500mg Famvir daily.
