Do a search in this forum on the word “isotope” you will see that ML refers to protein often as a form of nitrogen that can change its isotope from Acid to Alkaline depending on the situation.
I'm thinking, generally speaking that when the protein has to go to the alkaline side, it’s usually to help correct some other imbalance. Not too sure on that though. It's just that many times when someone is sick and their urine is very alkaline, it’s because of this condition.
