Re: tummy ache after BM
Hi ellamacy123, in your first message you asked if some people just are not as easily cleaned out? The answer is yes, and a lot depends diet and eating habits as well as the degree of the bowel's natural peristalic function.
You also asked about P&B shakes. P is for psyllium, which provides fiber and bulk, and B is for
Bentonite is a clay based mineral which draws impurities from the digestive system. Given your particular situation, I suggest that you avoid P&B shakes at this time.
As far as recipies for enemas, I suggest that at least in the beginning you stick with a standard saline solution. Use one teaspoon of
Sea Salt or non-iodized
table salt for each pint of water, or 4 teaspoons for a full bag. The water temperature should be 103 degrees F at preparation time. Use your baby bath thermometer to get it just right.
This is the safest enema solution and should provide a gentle and relaxing cleanse. The return can tell a lot about what might be in there.
Best wishes, Valerie
