Well its sure getting cold fast here in the midwest. I've been paying attention to the gardning posts of late. I have two strips of land that I could grow on next year and I would like to know what I can do to the land now to prep it for next season. The land strips are small, about 15 Sq. Ft. I'm limited on funds so I'm looking for the cheaper soultions.
My plan is too dig up the dirt this weekend, and bury whatever I can to help the soil. I will be looking for a gardening supply store in my area but I'm not sure if they will sell the "rock dust" in small enough quanities for such a small amount of land. I'd buy more that I'd need but again, money is an issue.
Would the BSM and or fish help if I put it in the dirt this fall as opposed to next spring?
