You are correct in stating the condition of the health care system. I have seen drastic changes in the 30 years that I have been in it, unfortunately not for the better. It's all about business and making money, pushing the health givers to the limit with no concern for patient care. However, not all care givers treat patients in an "abbreviated form", there are many who are caring and giving.
