This request may be out of order, but I wonder if you could ask the surgeon to give a detailed report back about what he found, particularly inside the gall bladder and then let the group know when you are well enough.

The enlarged bile ducts are not a sign of Gallstones because the normal variation of duct size in the population is between 4mm and 20mm. Is that folk with a larger duct size are more prone to gallstones.

I have brought my gallbladder back from a very poorly state and have restored my health as well but it took me a long time and plenty of dedication.

I trust you are aware that gallbladder operations have a 20% failure rate. Best of luck.
