Re:Gifted child

Molly,

You are parents to a "gifted child".

You child is a natural mechanical engineer, and systems programer. He is able to discern how things work independent actions and concieve how they all go together. He is also able to understand how to initiate sequence. My guess is that he is interested in public and urban planning. Though I have never met him... I can see he is unique.

To the audience here ---
It is important with children to not fixate on what tasks you think they should be mastering. Human development process takes its own course. As long as there are areas of high curiosity this is good. Encourage this and give them more access. They will "get what they want " of it and move along. We all have a purpose in this life and the child comes in with it ---- other developements will come later. They are busy.
